I was a long-time member of bj21.com. Not worth the admission now imoho.
A feature they had was Post of The Month for a prize (was $100).
How about a reward for a Post of the Month. For a prize, not necessarily $100... whatever...
It would encourage quality posts throughout the forum. Instead or run of the mill stuff. Quality attracts quality perhaps?

Great idea Thatch. As a matter of fact we've just kicked off a "Post of The Week" feature over on our sister site, PokerForum.com, so it should be pretty straightforward for us to do something like that here.
